Alexandra has Pioneer Park in its centre, with tennis courts and childrens playpark. On Saturday mornings over the Summer and Autumn, you'll find Market Stalls. Additionally, we can boast a Gun Club, Bowling Clubs, Skating Rink and Bike Park.

You can walk the Alexandra to Clyde River walk, view historic stone bridges, miners workings and historic churches. Walk up to see the Clock on the Hill up close, at 11 metres tall the view back over the town is spectacular.

Enjoy trips along the Clutha River, which also offers fantastic fishing and water sport opportunities.

Swimming

Energised, renewed, feel the difference at the Molyneux Aquatic Centre. Open 6.00am – 7.30pm Mon – Fri, 9.00am – 6.00pm Sat and 10.00am – 6.00pm Sunday and public holidays. This pool is closed Christmas day and Good Friday only. Come join the fun at one of Alexandra's special attractions.

This complex caters for everyone, with a 6 lane 25mt pool, therapeutic pool, spa pool and an extra treat over the summer months is the 25mt 4 lane outside pool.

  • Fun pool toys like float boards, shaped floaties, balls and much more

Golf

The award winning Alexandra course provides an easy walking, well groomed, championship layout with narrow, tree lined fairways and reminders of the old arid landscape in the areas of rough. It is a challenge for any level of golfer and draws many visitors keen to experience the course and the many attractions of the unique surrounding area.
