Within easy walking distance of shops and town centre. Shaky Bridge is but a few steps away and across the bridge is an excellent café situated in a restored early pioneer cottage.

Alexandra is well known for its orchards - Blossom Festival in September - winter sports and has a fast developing wine industry. Easy road access to Queenstown, Wanaka, West Coast and the glaciers. The winter ski resorts at Coronet Peak, Cardrona, Treble Cone and the Remarkables are all within easy driving distances.

The area is also well known for its trout and salmon fishing in the surrounding rivers and lakes. All the usual outdoor recreational activities are catered for including golf, tramping, and swimming, mountain biking and not forgetting the Otago Central Rail Trail. The incredible autumn colours are a photographer’s delight.
